13 Applications for parentage orders
The intended parent, or intended parents, in relation to a child may apply to the court for a parentage order in relation to the child.
An application may only be made under subsection (1) in accordance with sections 14 and 15.
An application under subsection (1) must be – in the approved form; and accompanied by the prescribed fee; and lodged with the court.
An intended parent who makes an application under subsection (1) in relation to a child must serve on the birth parent, or birth parents, of the child a copy of the application.
