20 Testing of taxi security camera
A security camera system installed in a vehicle is to be tested by the manufacturer, or agent of the manufacturer, in the following circumstances, to ensure that the system is fully operational:
as part of the installation process of the security camera system;
at the following intervals:no later than 12 months after the day on which the security camera system was tested as part of its installation process; at intervals of 12 months from when the security camera system was last tested in accordance with these regulations;
as required by an authorised officer or police officer.
