Applications for review

In force
Part 2Internal Review of Decisions

6 Applications for review

An application for review of an administrative decision is to be made in writing and lodged with the Commission.

Despite subregulation (1), the Commission may waive the requirement for an application to be made in writing if it is satisfied that it is an unreasonable or unnecessary requirement in the circumstances of a particular case.

An application – may be in any form; but must clearly state – the administrative decision to which it relates; and the applicant's reasons for seeking the review.

The Commission may, by notice to an applicant, require the applicant to give it any information that it reasonably considers is necessary for a proper consideration of the application.
