Police officer detaining person under a preventative detention order

In force

If –

a number of police officers are detaining, or involved in the detention of, a person under a preventative detention order at a particular time; and a power or obligation is expressed in this Act to be conferred or imposed on the police officer detaining the person –

the power or obligation is conferred or imposed at that time on the most senior of those police officers.
