50 Closure of Supreme Court and restriction on publication of proceedings
This section applies to proceedings before the Supreme Court in connection with applications for the making, varying or revocation of preventative detention orders or prohibited contact orders.
Any such proceedings must be heard in the absence of the public.
The Supreme Court may, in connection with any such proceedings, do anything necessary or convenient to suppress the publication of the whole or any part of the proceedings or of the evidence given in the proceedings as it considers necessary to secure the suppression of the publication of the proceedings or evidence given in the proceedings.
