Training and Workforce Development (Transitional Provisions) Act 2013

If, under section 67 of the former VET Act, a person applied to the former Skills Tasmania to carry out an inquiry, or the former Skills Tasmania determined to carry out an inquiry, and that inquiry had not commenced or was not completed before the commencement day – that application is taken to have been made to, or that determination is taken to have been made by, the Secretary under section 53 of the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013; and the inquiry may be commenced or continued under section 53 of the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013.

If appropriate, a decision by the former TTAC following an inquiry undertaken under section 67 of the former VET Act is taken to be a decision of the Secretary under section 53 of the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013.
