12 Gaming licences not generally assignable
Except as provided by subsection (2), a gaming licence is not capable of being assigned.
A State shipping company that has been issued with a gaming licence in respect of a ship may, with the approval of the Minister, assign that licence to another State shipping company if that other company has taken over the exclusive operation of that ship.
