144 Exclusion of air cushion vehicles and personal mobility devices from definition of motor vehicle

In this regulation – air cushion vehicle means a vehicle that is designed to be supported when in motion wholly or partly by air expelled from the vehicle to form a cushion of which the boundaries include the water or other surface beneath the vehicle; personal mobility device has the same meaning as in the Road Rules.

The following classes of vehicles are excluded from the ambit of the definition of motor vehicle under paragraph (g) of that definition in section 3 of the Act:air cushion vehicles; personal mobility devices.
