47 Breach of condition
A person must not use, or cause or permit the use of, a vehicle or a combination, that is subject to an exemption, otherwise than in accordance with the conditions applying to the exemption. In the case of – a first offence, a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units; or a subsequent offence, a fine not exceeding 40 penalty units.
A person who is convicted of an offence, in relation to a part of a vehicle or combination that fails to comply with a condition may be convicted of another offence if another part of the vehicle or combination also fails to comply with the same or a similar condition.
