59 Entitlement to sue for fees
A registered veterinary surgeon, a registered veterinary specialist or, subject to subsection (2), a person exempted under section 13 is entitled to sue in a court of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of his fees or other remuneration for veterinary services performed by him on his own account.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a person exempted under section 13 if any term or condition of that exemption prohibits him from charging any fee or remuneration for veterinary services performed by him.
A veterinary services company is entitled to sue in a court of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of its fees or other remuneration for veterinary services rendered in its name or on its behalf by a registered veterinary surgeon.
A veterinary services partnership is entitled to sue in a court of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of its fees or other remuneration for veterinary services rendered in its name or on its behalf by a registered veterinary surgeon.
