War Service Land Settlement Act 1950

The annual rent shall be paid in respect of a year ending on the last day of June and shall be payable in two equal payments on or before the first day of July, and the first day of January in every such year, but where a tenancy commences on a day other than the first day of July the rent payable in respect of the period between the end of the first year from the entry of the tenant under his tenancy and the thirtieth day of June next following shall be a proportionate part of the annual rent.

The rent reserved on any tenancy shall be a debt due to the Board from the tenant.
