38 Purchase of absolute freehold
A tenant who at any time after the grant of his holding under section seventeen and more than six years after its allotment under section fifteen tenders the purchase price of the holding and all other moneys payable by him to the Board under this Act, shall be entitled to receive from the Board a release in accordance with this section.
Such a release shall be by memorandum of release in accordance with the form in Schedule 2 registered under the Land Titles Act 1980 and upon the registration thereof the Board's rights in the holding shall be extinguished and the tenant shall hold immediately of the King free and discharged from all and any mortgage charge rent re-entry reversion escheat lordship or other right of the Board touching the holding.
