190Time within which relevant building surveyor must decide application for occupancy permit
(1)
For the purposes of sections 43 and 56 of the Act, the relevant building surveyor must decide an application for an occupancy permit—
(a)
in the case of a Class 1 building, within 2 business days after the relevant day; and
(b)
in any other case, within 5 business days after the relevant day.
(2)
In this regulation the relevant day means the earlier of the following days—
(a)
the day on which all reports and consents required to be supplied by reporting authorities in relation to the application are received by the relevant building surveyor;
(b)
the day by which the reports and consents referred to in paragraph (a) must be supplied to the relevant building surveyor.
