Bus Safety Act 2009

Safe Transport Victoria may require an applicant for driver accreditation to do all or any of the following—

undertake a specified prescribed course of training;

obtain a specified prescribed qualification;

pass specified prescribed tests, including tests relating to—

the applicant's fitness to drive a vehicle; and

the applicant's medical condition.

Safe Transport Victoria may specify courses of training by reference to either or both of the following—

the name of the course;

the provider of the course.

In specifying a course of training, Safe Transport Victoria must—

be satisfied about—

its content and nature; and

the materials, resources and equipment required to provide it; and

have regard to the public care objective.

Safe Transport Victoria must publish the name and provider of any course of training specified under this section on Safe Transport Victoria's Internet site.
