14 Authority may agree to exclusivity
On or after 1 December 1992, the Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, enter into an agreement with a person, in connection with the grant of a casino licence to the person, binding the Authority for a specified period not to grant another casino licence for a location within a specified distance from the location of the person's casino or not to grant another casino licence for a casino of a specified kind for such a location.

The Authority cannot enter into any agreement under this section on or after the commencement of section 4 of the Gaming Legislation (Amendment) Act 2002.

Subsection (2) does not prevent the Authority or the Commission from amending or varying any agreement made under this section before the commencement referred to in that subsection after that commencement in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
