36 Power to grant licences over cemetery land
(1)
Subject to this section, a cemetery trust may grant a licence to enter and use any part of the land in a public cemetery for which it is responsible or any building on that land for any purpose approved by the Minister.
(2)
The Minister must not give approval under this section unless he or she is satisfied that the licence is for a purpose that is not detrimental to the purpose for which the land is reserved.
(3)
A licence granted under this section—
(a)
must be for a period not exceeding 3 years; and
(b)
is subject to the terms and conditions determined by the cemetery trust and approved by the Minister.
