Power to compel attendance

In force

(1)

The Commission by written notice may require a person to attend before the Commission, at a reasonable time and place, to answer questions if the Commission reasonably believes that—

(a)

the person has information that is relevant to an investigation; and

(b)

the information is necessary for the conduct of the investigation.

(2)

A person who is required under this section to attend before the Commission—

(a)

is entitled to be paid a reasonable sum for the person's attendance; and

(b)

is entitled to have a legal or personal representative present.
