9 Details to be recorded when receiving a complaint

If a complaint is made directly to an information sharing entity or a restricted information sharing entity in relation to the performance of its functions under Part 6A of the Act, the following information is prescribed for the purposes of section 41ZC of the Act—

(a)

the date the complaint was made and received;

(b)

the nature of the complaint;

(c)

any action that was taken by the information sharing entity or the restricted information sharing entity to resolve the complaint;

(d)

any necessary action that has been taken to prevent, or lessen, the risk of further similar complaints by addressing the reasons for the complaint;

(e)

the time taken to resolve the complaint;

(f)

if the information sharing entity or the restricted information sharing entity was unable to resolve the complaint, what (if any) further action was taken by that entity.
