53A Sleep and rest

(1)

The approved provider of a children's service must take reasonable steps to ensure that the needs for sleep and rest of children being educated and cared for by the service are met, having regard to the ages, developmental stages and individual needs of the children.

Penalty: 5 penalty units.

Note

A compliance direction may be issued for failure to comply with this subregulation.

(2)

A nominated supervisor of a children's service must take reasonable steps to ensure that the needs for sleep and rest of children being educated and cared for by the service are met, having regard to the ages, developmental stages and individual needs of the children.

Penalty: 5 penalty units.
