42 Eligibility to stand for election
A person is eligible to stand for election as an officer of a brigade (including the position of captain) if—
the person is a general member; and
their enrolment is not suspended.
A member of a brigade is not eligible to stand for the position of captain of a brigade unless—
the member has served as an officer of a brigade for 2 years or more; and
the member has met the requirements specified by the Chief Officer as requirements for that position.
The Chief Officer may waive the requirements in subregulation (2).
A member of a brigade is not eligible to stand for the position of lieutenant of a brigade unless—
the member has met the requirements specified by the Chief Officer as requirements for that position; or
the Chief Officer waives the requirements in paragraph (a).
