77 Suspension and cancellation following finding of guilt
(1)
Without limiting the Authority's powers under section 23 of the Act, the Authority may cancel the enrolment of a member of a brigade who is found guilty of an offence in Victoria or another jurisdiction that is punishable by a term of imprisonment.
(2)
The Chief Officer may suspend the enrolment of a member who is found guilty of an offence in Victoria or another jurisdiction that is punishable by a term of imprisonment.
(3)
A suspension under subregulation (2) continues in force until—
(a)
the Chief Officer revokes the suspension; or
(b)
the Authority makes a decision in relation to the cancellation of the member's enrolment.
