124ZU Person specified in direction under section 124ZT must comply with it
A person who—
commits an offence against section 124ZN; and
is specified in a direction given under section 124ZT in respect of the public display that constitutes that offence—
must comply with the direction within the time specified in the direction unless the person has a reasonable excuse for not doing so.
Penalty: In the case of an individual, 10 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 50 penalty units.
Without limiting what may be a reasonable excuse for the purposes of subsection (1), it is a reasonable excuse for a person to fail to comply with a direction if the direction does not come to the person's notice.
If a person who is specified in a direction given under section 124ZT complies with the direction within the time specified in the direction, no other person who is specified in the direction commits an offence against subsection (1) in respect of that direction.
