138 Regulations
The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to any matter or thing required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed to give effect to this Act.

Regulations made under this Act—
may be of general or limited application; and
S. 138(2)(b) amended by No. 37/2024 s. 111(b).
may differ according to differences in time, place or circumstances; and
S. 138(2)(c) inserted by No. 37/2024 s. 111(c).
confer a discretionary authority or impose a duty on a specified person or a specified class of persons; and
S. 138(2)(d) inserted by No. 37/2024 s. 111(c).
may leave any matter or thing to be from time to time determined, applied, dispensed with or regulated by a specified person or class of persons; and
S. 138(2)(e) inserted by No. 37/2024 s. 111(c).
provide in a specified case or class of cases for the exemption of persons or things from any of the provisions of the regulations, whether unconditionally or on specified conditions, and either wholly or to such extent as is specified; and
S. 138(2)(f) inserted by No. 37/2024 s. 111(c).
apply, adopt or incorporate, with or without modification, any matter contained in any document, code, standard, rule, specification or method formulated, issued, prescribed or published by any person—
wholly or partially or as amended by the regulations; or
as formulated, issued, prescribed or published at the time the regulations are made or at any time before then; or
as formulated, issued, prescribed or published from time to time.
