A person must not consign for transport in or on a vehicle a load that contains dangerous goods that is a placard load if the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the goods or their packaging are not, or will not be, stowed, loaded or restrained in accordance with Chapter 8.1 of the ADG Code.
- In the case of a natural person, 18 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 90 penalty units.
A person must not consign a load that contains dangerous goods for transport in or on a cargo transport unit if the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the cargo transport unit is not, or will not be, restrained in accordance with Chapter 8.2 of the ADG Code.
- In the case of a natural person, 18 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 90 penalty units.
