A person must not drive a road vehicle transporting dangerous goods if the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that—
the goods are a placard load; and
the load is not appropriately placarded.
- 27 penalty units.
A person must not drive a road vehicle transporting a placard load if the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the placarding of the load is false or misleading in a material particular.
- 27 penalty units.
A person must not drive a road vehicle that is, or that incorporates, a cargo transport unit that is placarded as if it was a placard load if the person knows or reasonably ought to know, that the load does not contain dangerous goods.
- 27 penalty units.
A person must not drive a road vehicle that is, or that incorporates, a cargo transport unit if—
the unit is transporting a load of dangerous goods (other than a placard load); and
the load is placarded; and
the person knows, or reasonably ought to know, that the placarding is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: 27 penalty units.
