Part 3Operation of cathodic protection systems
19 Audit by the owner
(1)
The owner of a registered cathodic protection system must annually inspect and record the operating current of the system.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2)
The owner of a registered cathodic protection system must ensure that a record prepared under subregulation (1) is available for inspection at all reasonable times by—
(a)
Energy Safe Victoria; and
(b)
persons whose metallic structures are affected or likely to be affected by that cathodic protection system.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
