257 Licensed electrical inspectors must not inspect work if involved with the design of the work
(1)
A licensed electrical inspector inspecting prescribed electrical installation work must not be a person who was involved in the design of that electrical installation work or the verification of the work required by regulation 205.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2)
For the purposes of this regulation, a licensed electrical inspector was not involved in the design of electrical installation work if the inspector only provided advice in relation to the requirements of—
(a)
the Act; or
(b)
these Regulations.
