21 Functions of the Chief Executive, Emergency Management Victoria
Without derogating from the functions of the Chief Executive, Emergency Management Victoria, the functions of the Chief Executive, Emergency Management Victoria include the following—
to provide advice and make recommendations to the Minister on any issue relating to the functions of—
Emergency Management Victoria; or
the Chief Executive, Emergency Management Victoria—
having regard where relevant to any guidance or advice provided to the Chief Executive, Emergency Management Victoria by the State Crisis and Resilience Council;
to take a lead role in coordinating investment planning and large-scale strategic projects on behalf of the responder agencies including but not limited to matters relating to the following—
major procurement;
communications and information systems;
emergency management planning processes for the purpose of achieving greater efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of emergency management services.
