In accordance with the university statutes and university regulations, during the absence of the Vice-Chancellor, the Council may appoint an acting Vice-Chancellor.
(2)
In accordance with the university statutes and university regulations, the Council may appoint one or more deputy vice-chancellors who have the functions, duties and powers conferred by the university statutes and university regulations.
