22 Maximum number of access licences that can be issued for a class of access licence

(1)

The maximum number of licences that may be issued for a class of access licence listed in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 17 is the base number in Column 3 of that Table that corresponds to that class of licence less the adjustment number for that class of licence calculated in accordance with subregulation (2).

(2)

The adjustment number for a class of access licence is the total number of licences of that class that, since the commencement of these Regulations, have—

(a)

not been renewed within the 2-month period immediately following the date on which any fee, royalty or levy was due in respect of that class of licence; and

(b)

been consolidated with another licence of that class; and

(c)

been cancelled.
