17 Construction and work
A person must not within a State forest undertake any construction or work without a permit unless that person does so in accordance with—
a miner's right or a tourist fossicking authority; or
regulation 22(2)(b).
Penalty: 10 penalty units.
For the purposes of subregulation (1), the managing body may issue a permit to a person to undertake construction or work.
In this regulation—
construction includes building, modifying, maintaining, adding to, or erecting any building, permanent structure or improvement;
work means any activity that modifies land or the environment including the following—
making paths, track and trails;
digging, moving or removing soil, rock or stone;
clearing vegetation;
moving or removing any object or thing provided or erected by the managing body;
installing or erecting any object or thing that is not a building, permanent structure or improvement.
