Availability of funeral goods and services price list

In force

A funeral provider must give a copy of the funeral provider's funeral goods and services price list to—

(a)

any person who asks in person about funeral goods or funeral services and their prices; and

(b)

any other person on request.

Note

The following provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (Victoria) may apply to any breach of a funeral provider's obligations under this Division—

section 18 (misleading or deceptive conduct);

section 21 (unconscionable conduct);

section 29 (false or misleading representations about goods or services);

section 33 (misleading conduct as to the nature etc. of goods);

section 34 (misleading conduct as to the nature etc. of services);

section 158 (wrongly accepting payment).
