30 Terms and conditions of appointment
The Commissioner is appointed for the period, not exceeding 4 years, set out in the instrument of appointment.
Subject to this Part, the Commissioner is appointed on the terms and conditions set out in the instrument of appointment.
The Commissioner may hold office on a full-time or part-time basis.
Subject to section 29(3), the Commissioner may be reappointed.
The Public Administration Act 2004 (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to the Commissioner in respect of the office of the Commissioner.
The Commissioner must not, without the consent of the Minister, engage in paid employment or conduct any trade or business outside the duties of the Commissioner.
