100 Submissions by responsible authorities and municipal councils in relation to permit applications

The Executive Director, within 10 business days after receiving a permit application, must give a copy of the application—
to the responsible authority for the area in which the registered place or registered object is situated; and
if the responsible authority is not a municipal council, the relevant municipal council.
A responsible authority or a municipal council to which a copy of a permit application is given may make a written submission to the Executive Director in relation to the application.
A submission must be lodged within—

20 business days after notice is given under subsection (1); or
an extended period of time under section 94(3).

Despite subsection (3), the Executive Director may accept a submission that has not been lodged within the time required under that subsection.
