238 Heritage Council may accept gifts
The Heritage Council may—
acquire by gift, grant, bequest or demise a registered place, registered object or the land on which a registered place is situated; and
agree to carry out any conditions of that gift, grant, bequest or demise.
A registered place, registered object or land acquired under subsection (1) is vested in the Crown.
In accepting a gift, grant, bequest or demise under this section, the Heritage Council must—
take into account the cultural heritage significance of the registered place, registered object or land; and
take into account any relevant requirements for the future management of the registered place, registered object or land.
