46A Conduct of hearings by Heritage Council in relation to a recommendation
(1)
The Heritage Council may conduct a hearing in relation to a recommendation under section 37, 38 or 39 in any circumstances that the Heritage Council considers appropriate.
(2)
The Heritage Council must conduct a hearing if—
(a)
a submission made to it under section 44 includes a request for a hearing before the Heritage Council; and
(b)
the submission is made by a person or body with a real or substantial interest in the place, object or land that is the subject of the submission.
