12 Written consent not sufficient authority in certain cases
A document that purports to be a consent given in accordance with section 7 or 8 is not sufficient authority for a registered medical practitioner to remove tissue if—
(a)
the registered medical practitioner has been informed that the consent has been revoked; or
(b)
the registered medical practitioner knows or has reasonable grounds for suspecting that a certificate given for the purpose of section 9 in relation to the document contains a false statement.
