Production of identity card

Current

(1)

A fire safety inspector must produce his or her identity card for inspection—

(a)

before exercising a power under this Part other than a requirement made by post; and

(b)

at any time during the exercise of a power under this Part, if asked to do so.

Penalty: 1 penalty unit.

(2)

Any action or thing done by a fire safety inspector is not invalidated by his or her failure to produce his or her identity card.
