326B Regulations relating to model governance rules
S. 326B inserted by No. 42/2026 s. 37.
Without limiting section 325, the regulations may prescribe any matter relating to or in respect of the model governance rules, including but not limited to—
the day on which the model governance rules take effect; and
the period after the commencement of section 29 of the Amending Act within which a Council must adopt, by incorporation in the Governance Rules, provisions of the model governance rules.
In this section—
Amending Act means the Local Government Legislation Amendment (Stronger Communities) Act 2026.
