73 Validation procedures
(1)
The election manager must ensure that the method of electronically recording preferences from ballot-papers involves suitable validation procedures.
(2)
The election manager must document the validation procedures and make copies of the documentation available to scrutineers before the commencement of the count.
(3)
If the validation procedures include the double entry of preferences, the election manager may determine that a recount is to comprise a single entry where each entry is validated against the equivalent earlier entry.
