29 Appointment of authorised officers

The Workforce Inspectorate Victoria may, by instrument, appoint a person employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004 as an authorised officer for the purposes of this Act.

An authorised officer is subject to the directions of the Workforce Inspectorate Victoria in the performance of the authorised officer's functions or in the exercise of the authorised officer's powers under this Act.
A direction under subsection (2) may be of a general nature or may relate to a specified matter or to a specified class of matter.
