Definitions and application

In force

(1)

In this Order, unless the context or subject matter otherwise requires—

co-operative means a body registered or deemed to be registered under the Co-operatives National Law (Victoria) as a co-operative;

garnishee means a person from whom a judgment creditor claims that a debt is due or accruing to a judgment debtor.

(2)

In this Order a reference to a garnishee order includes a reference to an attachment of debts order.

(3)

This Order does not apply to debts being earnings within the meaning of Order 72 due or accruing to the judgment debtor.
