84AZZC Registration of declared mine land
The Department Head must register any land or part of land that is declared mine land by entering the prescribed matters in the declared mine land register if—
S. 84AZZC(a) amended by No. 11/2026 s. 76.
the Minister gives a registration direction to the Department Head to register any land or part of the land that is declared mine land; or
S. 84AZZC(b) amended by No. 2/2026 s. 30(1).
the Minister pays any rehabilitation bond into the Declared Mine Fund under section 83A on the cancellation of a mining licence in respect of any land or part of the land that is declared mine land; or
S. 84AZZC(c) inserted by No. 2/2026 s. 30(2), amended by No. 11/2026 s. 86.
the Minister directs the Department Head to register any land or part of the land that is declared mine land on the cancellation of a mining licence because of a failure to meet a rehabilitation or closure requirement relating to the declared mine land.
