17 Acting Chairperson of the Commission
(1)
The Minister may appoint a member of the Commission to act as the Chairperson during a vacancy in the office of the Chairperson.
(2)
An Acting Chairperson is appointed for the period, not exceeding 3 months, specified in his or her instrument of appointment as the Acting Chairperson.
(3)
An Acting Chairperson is subject to the terms and conditions specified in his or her instrument of appointment as the Acting Chairperson.
