153 Appointment of panels
Subject to this section, the Minister must appoint a panel to consider submissions to be referred to a panel under this Act.

The Minister must consult the Suburban Rail Loop Minister before appointing a panel to consider submissions relating to the preparation of an amendment to any provision of a planning scheme that applies to land to which a Suburban Rail Loop planning area declaration applies.

The appointment of a panel under subsection (1) is not invalid or ineffective merely because the Minister did not comply with subsection (2).
