Private Security Regulations 2025

For the purposes of section 43(3)(b) of the Act, an application to vary or revoke a condition imposed on a private security licence must contain the following prescribed particulars—

details of the applicant's reasons for seeking the variation or revocation of the licence condition;

in the case of an application made by a natural person to vary or revoke a condition imposed on a private security business licence, details of any particulars set out in regulations 8 and 11 that have changed since the licence was granted or last renewed;

in the case of an application made by a body corporate to vary or revoke a condition imposed on a private security business licence, details of any particulars set out in regulations 9 and 12 that have changed since the licence was granted or last renewed;

in the case of an application to vary or revoke a condition imposed on a private security individual operator licence, details of any particulars set out in regulations 14 and 16 that have changed since the licence was granted or last renewed.

For the purposes of section 43(3)(c) of the Act, an application to vary or revoke a condition imposed on a private security licence must be accompanied by a certified copy of a document that verifies the accuracy of the applicant's reasons under subregulation (1)(a).
