22A Transitional provision—Statewide Treaty Act 2025
In this section—
current standards means the standards under section 12 in effect immediately before the commencement of this section.
The Keeper of Public Records must review the current standards in consultation with the First Peoples' Assembly to ensure that the standards are culturally safe and culturally competent.
The review must include all current standards unless otherwise agreed by the Keeper of Public Records and the First Peoples' Assembly.
The review must be conducted within—
3 years after the commencement of this section; or
any longer period agreed by the Keeper of Public Records and the First Peoples' Assembly.
