32 Regulations
The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to—
S. 32(1)(a) substituted by No. 60/1999 s. 16(a).
the control, management and use of—
S. 32(1)(a)(i) substituted by No. 41/2022 s. 15(a).
the State Sport Centres and the State Sport Centres land; and
S. 32(1)(a)(ii) repealed by No. 41/2022 s. 15(a).

any other sports, recreation and entertainment facilities or services managed or operated by the Trust;

the prohibition or regulation of any activity—
S. 32(1)(b)(i) substituted by No. 41/2022 s. 15(b).
at the State Sport Centres or on the State Sport Centres land; or
S. 32(1)(b)(ii) repealed by No. 41/2022 s. 15(b).

at any other sports, recreation and entertainment facilities or services managed or operated by the Trust;

the protection of people in the State Sport Centres or on the State Sport Centres land from injury or nuisance;
S. 32(1)(ca) inserted by No. 60/1999 s. 16(d).
the protection of people at any other sports, recreation and entertainment facilities or services managed or operated by the Trust from injury or nuisance;
the removal of any structures or other works which do not comply with the requirements of the Trust or in respect of which a lease, licence, permit or agreement has expired or has been cancelled;

the exclusion or expulsion of persons found contravening the regulations from—
S. 32(1)(e)(i) substituted by No. 41/2022 s. 15(d).
the State Sport Centres or the State Sport Centres land; or
S. 32(1)(e)(ii) repealed by No. 41/2022 s. 15(d).

any other sports, recreation and entertainment facilities or services managed or operated by the Trust;
prescribing any other matter or thing required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed to give effect to this Act.
The regulations—
may be of general or limited application;
may differ according to differences in time, place or circumstance;
may confer a discretionary authority or impose a duty on a specified person or class of persons;
may impose a penalty not exceeding 10 penalty units for a contravention of the regulations;
may apply, adopt or incorporate any matter contained in any document issued or adopted by any person whether—
wholly or partially or as amended by the regulations; or
as issued or adopted at the time the regulations are made or at any time before then.

Any regulations made under this Act for or with respect to the issuing of film permits must not be inconsistent with the film friendly principles.

The regulations may be disallowed, in whole or in part, by resolution of either House of the Parliament.
