33 Council to keep register
A Council must maintain a register of applications made to it under the Act.
The register may be kept in conjunction with the register of permit applications required to be kept under section 49(1) of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
The entry in the register for an application must include the following—
the date the application is received;
the plan number made available by the Registrar;
the name of each referral authority to which the application is referred;
whether the application is exempt from referral and, if so, the reason;
whether a public open space requirement has been made and its nature;
whether the application is exempt from a public open space requirement and, if so, the reason;
the date of any certification or refusal;
the date of any re-certification or refusal;
the date a statement of compliance is issued;
details of any reviews;
the date a written advice under section 20A of the Act is received and its contents.
The Council must make the register available during office hours for any person to inspect free of charge.
