22AY Resignation and removal
A member of the CVE MAP ceases to hold office if the member—

resigns by written notice delivered to the Secretary and the chairperson of the CVE MAP; or
is removed from office by the Secretary under subsection (3) or (5).
A member of the CVE MAP appointed following a nomination under section 22AU ceases to hold office if the member ceases to be an eligible person in relation to the nominating officer who made the nomination.
The Secretary may remove a member of the CVE MAP from office.
A nominating officer may, by written notice, request that the Secretary remove from the CVE MAP a member who was appointed following a nomination made by that officer.
The Secretary must remove a member of the CVE MAP from office if requested to do so under subsection (4).
In this section—
eligible person has the same meaning as in section 22AU;
nominating officer has the same meaning as in section 22AU.
